The band create and develop original, jazz-style instrumental music. Aside from their tendency for unusual rhythms, the band members share the love of performing on the banks of the Ljubljanica River, where they built a reputation of being an excellent street music band. They used to frequent a location in an alley lined with chestnuts, and the chestnut was kind enough to lend the band its name.
