It’s time again this summer for the Maribor City Park to put on its hat made of creativity and outdoor fun woven by Festival Lent, and invite our youngest visitors and their +1s to our own festival of creation, the Art Kamp, which has been supported by Zavarovalnica Triglav for a number of years.
On Thursday, 27 June at 17.00, come say hello when the Triglav Stage will be visited by the most famous brothers who feel right at home on ski jumping and ski flying hills – ski jumpers Peter, Cene and Domen Prevc.
On this day, our youngest visitors can test their skills at the mobile ski jumping hill ‘Mini Planica’ between 12.00 and 19.00, and, for a brief moment, experience what it’s like to be the world’s best ski jumper. The mobile ski jumping hill is a project designed by Franci Petek, 1991 ski flying world champion. The project aims to promote the sport of ski jumping and an active lifestyle for children.
Pazi the Dog, the official mascot of Zavarovalnica Triglav, will make the day even more fun for everyone, especially for the youngest visitors. Pazi is a master of spreading good mood and encourages children to spend their free time outdoors – under the majestic chestnut trees of the Maribor City Park.
The leading Slovenian insurance company has been a long-standing supporter of Slovenia’s largest outdoor festival, which is an important part of the culture of Maribor. Zavarovalnica Triglav runs a series of activities that are part of the festival’s children’s programme. In cooperation with leading Slovenian athletes, the insurance company promotes a healthy and active lifestyle among children and those who accompany them, and contributes an important part to Festival Lent’s cultural diversity.
Children, parents, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, friends near and far, each festival day brings a new adventure for everyone!
