Wild Strings Trio was born in 2014 Ljubljana as a collaboration between Slovakian violinist Petra Onderufova, French classical musician cellist Toby Kuhn and Slovenian ethno music guitarist Aleksander Kuzmić. Joined by a passionate devotion to music and riding the wave of fiery creative instinct, they immediately began composing original music. The outcome is a unique musical masterpiece that intertwines the musical traditions of the homelands of each member of the trio, topped up with elements of jazz, classical music, flamenco, and Celtic and Balkan music.
The trio have appeared in concert halls, clubs and festivals all over Europe, and embarked on a tour that took them as far as Iran and Uzbekistan.
They released their first record Lost weekend in 2016. The second album is in the making and expected to see the light of day until the end of this year.
